Terms And Conditions
When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept, and do accept, on behalf of your party these terms and conditions. You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking with us. Your contract with Farmers Villas is made once one of the following have been completed:
- A confirmation invoice has been issued to you.
- When a booking is made within 10 weeks of departure, direct by telephone, and you receive verbal confirmation.
Your contract with us will be governed by English Law and is subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts at all times.
You must pay a deposit of 25% of the price of the villa. The balance of your villa price must be paid at least 10 weeks before departure. If you fail to pay in full 10 weeks before departure your holiday will be cancelled and you will lose your deposit. If you book within 10 weeks of departure this will be classified as a late booking and full payment must be made. We cannot confirm your booking until full payment has been received.
The prices on this web site are accurate. We reserve the right to change prices during the season, but prices will remain fixed once your booking has been confirmed.
Please check your confirmation invoice and any other documents you receive from us. You must contact us immediately as it may not be possible to make changes later.
Changes to Bookings
If, after your confirmation invoice has been issued, you wish to change your booking, we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible. Any request for changes must be made in writing. If it is possible to change your booking we will confirm the revision in writing.
If you need to cancel your holiday you must write to us, by Recorded Delivery. Cancellation will take effect on the date we receive your instruction. The closer your cancellation date is to the date of departure the less likely we are able to resell the dates reserved by you. Therefore the closer the cancellation to the departure date the higher the amount we have to retain.
The following cancellation charges will apply:
- More than 10 weeks from departure - We retain your deposit
- 10 - 5 weeks from departure - We retain 50% of your villa cost
- 4 - 3 weeks from departure - We retain 75% of your villa cost
- Less than 3 weeks from departure - We retain 100% of your villa cost
You are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance for the duration of your holiday.
You will be responsible for making your own arrangements for all travel to and from the villa.
This is reserved exclusively for the people named in the confirmation documents. No other persons are permitted to stay at the accommodation unless we have agreed to this in writing and appropriate payment received (if applicable). Should you or any member of your party be responsible for breakages, loss or damage to any item of the property or additional cleaning has been necessary, a charge may be made locally or an invoice will be sent to you on your return.
Arrival and Departure
The villas are booked from 1pm on your arrival day to 10am on your departure day. Please note that the cleaning may start before your time of departure or may continue after your arrival. If this is the case, we will endeavour to ensure that disruption is kept to a minimum.
Whilst we may every effort to ensure the villas are safe we cannot guarantee that the villas are completely child safe and as such care should always be taken. You should always act with care as accidents happen more often in a strange environment.
There is no telephone at the properties. You are advised to take a mobile telephone with you which has European Roaming capabilities.
The properties have satellite television. In the unlikely event that the signal fails it may take an extended period to arrange for repair. As such, satellite television is not included within the contract and we cannot be held responsible for failure of signal or delay in repair.
The photographs used within the web site and accommodation brochures are for illustration purposes and the actual furniture and facilities may change. However, equal or higher standard furniture and facilities will always be used compared to those shown in the photographs.
Damage & Cleaning Deposit
We will apply a charge of £50.00 to all bookings to be held as a deposit against damage to the property, facilities and furnishings or additional cleaning requirements. This deposit will only be refunded where no damage or additional cleaning expenses have been incurred. We reserve the right to make an additional charge should the deposit be insufficient to cover any costs involved in repairing, replacing or cleaning.
If you have reason to complain then please contact us as soon as possible so that we can make every effort to rectify the problem. If we are unable to resolve the matter during your holiday then your complaint must be notified to us in writing within 28 days of your return. Any complaints received after this period cannot be considered, as it may be difficult to fully investigate.
